THE NEED FOR DONATIONS
Second Chance Rescue Center is a private, 501c3 nonprofit organization. We do NOT receive funds from the United Way, Red Cross, State nor Federal Government. The nominal portion of funds received municipal contracts barely covers the care and expenses of those animal control services. It is only with tax-deductible donations from citizens in our community that we may continue to provide our services to animals and families in the surrounding area. In addition to monetary donations, we also need and accept donations of items that will directly and indirectly benefit the lives of the animals we are trying to find homes for.
Monetary donations can be made by mail, by calling the SCRC office at 605.362.1722 or via Paypal. (If monetary donations for the horse rescue are made, please specify that it goes to Second Chance Equine Rescue.)
