Second Chance Rescue Center Welcomes Interim Director

(Sioux Falls, SD) - Second Chance Rescue Center welcomes an Interim Director.  Rosey Quinn, founder of Second Chance, elected to resign her duties as Executive Director and focus on her passion, humane work.  "I realize my true passion is in the field ," says Quinn.  "I really enjoy humane investigative work and I am eager about this transition for our organization."

Acting President, Joran Olson says the Board of Directors is excited about this opportunity to reorganize.  "The Board of Directors is happy to announce Mike Pulizzi will be the Interim Director of Second Chance for the next 3 to 6 months," says Joran.  "Mike's going to take a business approach, provide leadership and  focus on center operations, financial stability and moving this organization forward."  Mike Pulizzi has extensive experience in management, operations, sales & marketing and human resources.  He was an executive with Pulizzi Engineering for many years.   Mike and his wife, Susan, founded and ran a non-profit organization for 5 years.  They have a passion for animal rescue and have fostered and adopted numerous dogs over the years.  Mike is active in the Sioux Falls business community and will launch a new business venture later this spring.  "We are lucky to have his expertise at Second Chance the next few months," says Joran.

Donations of Pet Food

Due to the increased number of animals being surrendered by their owners, Second Chance Rescue Center has been working extra hard to provide for the animals until they find their new forever home.  The center is always grateful for donations of pet food.  The preferred food is Purina Dog and Cat Chow and Puppy and Kitten Chow, but we welcome any brand.  Donations can be dropped off at the center located four miles west of Roosevelt High School at the intersection of West 41st St. & HWY 17.  Monetary donations can be made through our website via PayPal or mailed to SCRC 26707  466th Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57106.
