WAYS TO GIVE

Second Chance Rescue Center is a private non-profit animal welfare organization that relies on financial donations from the general public to keep the center doors open.  There are many ways to give and help center pets.  We hope you can find a way to make a donation that is most meaningful to you while supporting our mission of "speaking for all animals, great and small, who cannot speak for themselves."

Make your financial gift online through our secure PayPal donation link above. General Donation:  Provide financial resources for center operations. These donations are crucial in order for SCRC to pay rent, utilities, payroll, and supplies for shelter operations.

Special Projects/Funds:  Make a contribution for a special project, center upgrade, building expansion, play yard enhancement, spay/neuter fund, the Gadget Trotter Injured Animal Fund, or a project of your choice, speak with our Executive Director.

Honorarium:  Make a gift “In honor of” a loved one whether human or pet, an acknowledgment will also be mailed to the honored individual & it is listed in our quarterly E-Newsletter and on our Ways to Give page.

Memorial:  Make a gift “In memory of” a loved one whether human or pet & it is listed in our quarterly E-Newsletter and on our Ways to Give page.

Sponsor an Event:  SCRC holds events throughout the year including 3 annual events, Strutt Your Mutt Dog Walkathon in May, Harley Davidson Poker Run in September and SCRC Dance in October plus various others, speak with our Executive Director about sponsorship opportunities.

Adopt a Kennel Sponsorship:  You can sponsor a kennel of a small animal for $50/month, a cat for $75/month or a dog for $100/month.  You’ll receive recognition on our website, the animal’s kennel and a certificate of sponsorship. Adopt A Kennel Sponsorship Form

Sponsor a Headstart Dog:  The Head Start Program is designed for shelter dogs who exhibit behavior challenges.  We choose up to 3 dogs at one time who benefit from specially trained volunteers teaching the dogs basic obedience using positive reinforcement and treats. Any person, group, or business can sponsor a head start dog for $50.

Become a SCRC Member:  SCRC Memberships range from $30 for an Individual to $40 for a Couple and $50 for a Family.  Membership benefits include:  Quarterly E-Mail Newsletter, E-Blasts, 10% off adoption fees & retail store, VIP invites to events, certificates of membership.
